Online Reservations and Accommodation Terms
Thank you for your interest and for choosing Hotel “Izola Paradise” for your holiday!
These general terms and conditions for online reservations oblige Hotel “Izola Paradise”, as the HOTELIER, to provide the reservation requested by the client according to the data supplied by the client through the reservation form concerning: client name, accommodation period, number of nights, number of adults and children, board type, and number and type of rooms.
By making a reservation through the online reservation module on the official website of Hotel “Izola Paradise”, you accept and agree to the cancellation rules applied by the HOTELIER and its policy in case of no-show, as well as all additional terms and rules of the HOTELIER that may apply to your visit or stay.
In order to guarantee your reservation, it is necessary to follow the conditions described below.
Payment
• All payments related to reservations made through the official website of Hotel “Izola Paradise” shall be made in Euro (EUR);
• Prices include 9% VAT, tourist tax and insurance;
• The client is obliged to pay the required deposit according to the reservation and the selected pricing policy, after which the reservation shall be considered confirmed;
• Payment shall be made online by debit or credit card Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro, or by bank transfer to the indicated bank account.
• Each bank that issues cards of these types has its own policy and requirements regarding Internet payments;
• The ‘“virtual POS terminal’” service is provided by UniCredit Bulbank, which enables payments by bank cards over the Internet with a high level of security;
• All personal and financial data that you provide when making a payment in the virtual POS terminal system are sent directly to UniCredit Bulbank, which is responsible for keeping them secure. Hotel “Izola Paradise” is not responsible for the financial data of clients and cannot be held liable in this regard;
• Credit card data are encrypted upon receipt and are not stored online. Only duly authorized bank personnel have access to them;
• After the payment is made, the client receives confirmation of the reservation made, and upon check-in it is necessary to present the reservation number received. The confirmation is sent to the e-mail address specified by the client;
• If you need an invoice issued to a legal entity, you must complete the field provided for this purpose during the room booking process. If this is not done, the invoice issued will be to a natural person;
Personal Data
• The protection of each client’s personal data is important to us, and the Hotel is responsible for keeping them secure;
• The data provided by you are protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the regulatory acts governing information protection;
• The personal data required by the Hotel when making a reservation are: first name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number;
• The e-mail address or telephone number declared by you will be used for receiving official correspondence in your capacity as a client – invoices, information, notifications, notices and others;
• We may use your e-mail address to ask for a review after you leave the hotel. This is done for the purpose of improving the quality of our services.
Accommodation
• Check-in starts after 2:00 p.m. Room allocation depends on the current occupancy of the hotel. Early check-in, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., is available subject to room availability and against payment;
• Check-out time is by 12:00 noon. Late check-out between 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m. is possible subject to availability and against payment. Check-out after 6:00 p.m. is charged at the amount of one full night according to the room type;
• In the event of a client request for early check-in or late check-out, Hotel “Izola Paradise” does not guarantee that such request will be satisfied, and it is subject to the current availability of the respective room. Confirmation is made at the respective reception desk on the day of check-in / departure;
• Complaints regarding services provided by the hotel shall be considered only if submitted and documented during the stay, before departure from the hotel, by signing a protocol.
Cancellations
• If the client wishes to cancel a confirmed reservation, they must notify the “Marketing and Sales” department in writing using the contacts indicated on the website. After confirmation has been received from the Hotel, the reservation shall be deemed cancelled.
• When refunding payments made by card, the amount shall be refunded solely and exclusively to the card used for the payment;
• If the client leaves the hotel before the originally stated check-out date, the full amount of the reservation remains payable;
• In case of cancellations made without observing the cancellation policy of the respective rate, the prepaid amount shall not be refunded.
• In case of tourist no-show at the hotel, the prepaid amount shall be retained according to the reservation conditions
• All bank charges related to the refund shall be borne by the client;
• The Hotel is obliged to keep the reserved room until 6:00 p.m. on the respective day;
• If the guest does not notify the Hotel of late arrival after 6:00 p.m., the Hotel reserves the right to let the room to other guests;
• The Hotel reserves the right to publish special offers with different prices and cancellation policies;
• For reservations that have already been made, confirmed and paid, the amount due shall not change regardless of any new pricing offers subsequently published.

Our website also contains links to Facebook and Instagram. In this case, the transfer of data to the mentioned social media operators takes place only when the relevant icon button illustrating the link is pressed. If you click such a button, the page of the respective social network opens. There you may publish information about our services in accordance with the rules of the social media operator. You may also use our official profiles for contact on the various social networks, as well as other official public profiles of the company.
Personal Data Protection Policy
The Hotel, as a personal data controller, collects and processes certain information about natural people.
This information may relate to employees, managers, clients and hotel guests, suppliers, contractors, business contacts and other natural persons with whom the Controller has a relationship or wishes to establish a business contact.
This personal data protection policy governs how personal data are to be collected, processed and stored so as to meet the standards within the Controller’s organization and to comply with legal requirements.
This personal data protection policy is issued pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act and the subordinate legislation for its application, as amended (“Bulgarian legislation”), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (“GDPR”).
What is meant by “personal data” and “processing of personal data”?
‘“Personal data’” means any information by which a natural person can be identified directly or indirectly by one or more characteristics specific to their identity – for example: name, identification number / personal identification number, contact details – location / postal address, telephone number, electronic address (email), online identifier / IP address, images from video recordings, etc. These characteristics may relate to the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of the natural person.
“Processing of personal data” means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or on sets of personal data such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making the data available, arrangement or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Our Approach to Your Personal Data
The Hotel attaches great importance to personal data protection and collects and processes personal data only in compliance with the requirements of local and European legislation. The purpose of this “Personal Data Protection Policy” is to inform you how we process your data and what personal data we may collect about you, for what purpose, for what period, and accordingly what your rights are.
The security of the data you have entrusted to us is very important to us. Therefore, we protect your data by applying all appropriate technical and organizational measures adequate to the possible risks to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in order to prevent unauthorized access, unauthorized or malicious use, loss or premature deletion of information.
What information do we collect and why?
We may collect personal data about you when you use our Website or choose our services. In most cases, we require your personal data for the purpose of entering into a contract, complying with a legal obligation or protecting our legitimate interest. In certain cases, we process data on the basis of your consent.
Depending on the services you use, we may collect and process the following information about you:
• Full name of the person, personal identification number (for the purposes of registration at the Hotel and issuing an invoice, upon request);

• Personal data are collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and are not further processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes;
• Personal data are adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;
• Personal data are accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date;
• Personal data are kept in a form which permits identification of the data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed;
• Personal data is processed in a manner that ensures an appropriate level of security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical and organizational measures.
We most commonly process the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
• In the conclusion and performance of a contract – for registering the guest at the Hotel, preparing accounting documents such as a bill or invoice for the services provided to you; for notifications related to our services;
• In the performance of a legal obligation – for obligations provided for in the Tourism Act, the Accountancy Act and the Tax and Social Security Procedure Code and other related regulations, in connection with keeping proper and lawful accounting records; for obligations to provide information to all state commissions and regulatory authorities, as well as to courts; in the performance of obligations in connection with online reservations (distance sales) and sales outside our hotel premises;
• With your consent – for direct marketing of our products and services.
What are your rights?
When your personal data are collected and processed, you have the right to:
• Information regarding the processing of your personal data and access to the personal data collected about you;
• Rectification / completion if the data are inaccurate / incomplete – at your initiative or at the initiative of the Hotel;
• Erasure of personal data where there are legal grounds for this;
• Restriction of the processing of your personal data by the Hotel where there are legal grounds for this;
• Portability of personal data between separate controllers – this right allows you to receive your data from the Hotel and transfer them to another controller in a format suitable for use;
• Objection to the processing of your personal data where there are legal grounds for this;
• The right to protection through judicial or administrative proceedings in the event that your rights have been violated;

• Your personal data are stored by us in accordance with the purpose for which they were collected and within the statutory periods.
When can we disclose your personal data?
We apply a set of measures to protect your personal data from loss, theft and misuse, as well as from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. We do not provide your personal data to third parties before ensuring that all technical and organizational measures have been taken to protect such data, while striving to exercise strict control for the achievement of this purpose.
Some recipients of personal data may include: courier companies, external consultants and specialists, collection companies and law firms, banks, security companies, commercial agents and representatives, etc.
It is possible, in circumstances provided for by law, that your personal data may be disclosed. For example, upon your express consent or where there is authorization from the Personal Data Protection Commission, your personal data may be provided to third parties. In some cases, the provision of personal data is mandatory in order to comply with our legal requirements, such as: regulatory authorities, including state commissions, institutions and agencies, the National Revenue Agency, the National Social Security Institute, courts, the prosecution service, and others to whom we are obliged to provide personal data under applicable legislation. It is also possible, where necessary or appropriate, that your personal data may be provided for the purposes of national security or in the event of issues of public importance.
Security
The Hotel takes measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. There are policies and procedures designed to protect information against loss, misuse and improper disclosure. In addition, we take further information security measures, including access control, strict physical protection and reliable practices for the collection, storage and processing of information.
On the other hand, we apply technical measures such as encryption, pseudonymization and anonymization of the personal data collected.
When do we delete your personal data?
We store all information collected about you and destroy it within the statutory periods, and if there are none, within the periods determined by us after the final settlement of all our financial relations. We do not keep your data indefinitely.
Transfers between countries
The transfer, storage and processing of personal data are secured by modern technical means. The Hotel will not transfer your data outside the EEA without observing the legal possibilities and will introduce appropriate safeguards in order to preserve the confidentiality of your information.
Destruction
After the retention period expires, the data are destroyed as quickly as possible by destroying paper records through shredding, and data on technical media by deleting and erasing the respective files from the Company’s computers and systems.
Changes to this Personal Data Protection Policy
This personal information protection procedure may be changed over time. Such changes shall take effect immediately after their publication. Regular review of this page guarantees that you will always be aware of what information we collect, how and for what purposes the Hotel uses it, and under what circumstances (if any arise) we will share it with other parties.
